The Nébih imposed fines of 16 million HUF during the Easter controls
During the 3800 tests of the Easter controls, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) imposed fines of 16 million HUF in 148 cases – the Nébih told MTI on Thursday.
The agency points out that they only observed hygiene shortcomings at 2.8 percent of the controls this year, while last year this ratio was 5.4 percent.
According to the information about 1.8 percent (455 items) of the examined 25,000 items, were withdrawn from the market, due to violation of labeling, traceability rules, or due to quality reasons. (MTI)
