The NAV checks postal packages containing tobacco products

According to the communication of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV), the finance officers of NAV have seized more than one and a half tons of untaxed tobacco products in a value of 20 million HUF.

The National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) highly checks the domestic postal packages containing tobacco products to fight against illegal tobacco trade – the organization told on its Facebook page on Sunday.

On th basis of the Tobacco Act, those who sell tobacco products without tobacco sales license can be fined to 5 million to 500 million HUF. (MTI)
