The National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) has summarized the most important information about personal income tax returns in a practical, easy-to-understand publication. The digital information booklet is now available on the agency’s website, from where the necessary forms can also be accessed with one click – the authority told MTI on Monday.

The announcement highlighted that January is the month of personal income tax returns, and anyone who wants to receive their salary increased by discounts throughout the year must notify their employer during this period of what discounts they would like to claim.

As an example, they mention that Anyone who is raising a child, a mother of several children, or a mother under 30, a young person under 25, a newlywed, or a lactose intolerant person, can reduce their personal income tax.

You can use these benefits in a lump sum, in next year’s tax return, or you can request monthly validation. This is what tax advance declarations are for, which can be submitted online or on paper.

This process is facilitated by the new publication of the National Tax and Customs Administration, which presents the benefits that can be claimed and the declarations associated with them point by point. This way, all forms are available in one place, and not only the online versions, but also the printable, paper forms – the announcement said.

They added,

If you don’t know what kind of discount you are entitled to, what you need to submit to use it, where you can find the declaration, and how to submit it, click on the NAV website, where in addition to detailed information, you will now also find this easy-to-understand summary.

With its help, everyone can select the form that applies to them and simply submit the necessary documents, either online or on paper, in a few minutes, even before the January payroll – the National Tax and Customs Administration informed.
