Orange juice, cocoa and apartments are also worth a look
In the case of retail investments, the focus is most often on government securities and various bonds, as well as shares, although it is worth opening up to alternative investments as well, which often promise attractive returns, according to the compilation of K&H Securities. You can increase your investments with such ordinary things as orange juice and cocoa, although with these there is an increased risk, but you can also count on serious profits. Moreover, this is not the end of the line.
However, the world of investments is not only about bonds – including government securities – and shares, which are often on the agenda. Less attention is paid to alternative investments, which can turn out to be a surprisingly good choice. It is important, however, that in addition to their advantages, there are also disadvantages – K&H experts point out.
“Recently, in a high interest rate environment, the risk-free returns were also outstanding. In addition, investors, including private individuals, were faced with another very important thing, namely the more violent exchange rate movements characteristic of risky assets, i.e. the increase in volatility. Perhaps the year 2023 was the one that in the period after 2020 was most similar to the years before the coronavirus epidemic in terms of the degree of market volatility. And the price of risky assets – mainly on developed capital markets – has picked up again”
– said Grébel Szabolcs, senior analyst at K&H Securities. At the same time, it seems that it is perhaps more important than ever for investors to invest their money in as many assets as possible, thereby reducing risks.
“This is where the so-called alternative investments come into play, in addition to the classics, i.e. stocks and bonds”
– said the specialist.
