The name Nagykun rice has been added to the list of protected geographical indications in the EU
In accordance with the Commission’s decision, Nagykun rice has been entered in the register of 1550 food products already protected in the Union, which can be found in the eAmbrosia database.
Protected designations of origin apply to agricultural products and foodstuffs which are produced and protected in the European Union in a defined geographical area by recognized methods. (MTI)
