AutoWallis Group strengthens in the large commercial vehicle market
The AutoWallis Group is further strengthening its presence in the Czech market after opening its first large commercial vehicle sales point and service in the Czech Republic. The 3,400 square meter unit, which sells and services Mercedes-Benz Trucks and is located in the southern region of the country, is of strategic importance for the group. The handover of the development took place after AutoWallis acquired a new activity with the acquisition of the Czech MILAN KRÁL GROUP last year: it entered the large commercial vehicle market.
The AutoWallis Group has opened its first Mercedes-Benz Truck sales point and service, further strengthening its presence in the Czech market. The large commercial vehicle dealership and 6-bay service opened in Hůry, part of the České Budějovice agglomeration in South Bohemia, in a 3,400 square meter building complex located on an area of 3.1 hectares. As one of the most modern truck centers in the region, it will officially start operating on May 2nd with first-class service, convenient parking for large commercial vehicles and extra services for the comfort of drivers. The investment was completed earlier than originally planned, so it will contribute to the AutoWallis Group’s results from May and will also offer further expansion opportunities later.
The development took place after AutoWallis made the largest acquisition in its history at the end of 2024, when it acquired 100 percent of the MILAN KRÁL GROUP operating on the Czech market, thus including a new activity (sales and servicing of Mercedes-Benz Truck large commercial vehicles) in its portfolio. With the Czech acquisition, AutoWallis also further strengthened its BMW retail position (increasing its market share from 13 to 20 percent) in the Czech market. MILAN KRÁL GROUP, headquartered in the South Bohemian region of Ceské Budejovice, is engaged in the sale and servicing of four brands (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Benz Truck, Ford), Opel brand service activities, as well as a used car trade under its own brand name (auto.pro.Tebe), and also has a separate locksmith and paint shop. MILAN KRÁL GROUP’s sales revenue increased by nearly 7 percent to 2.9 billion Czech crowns in 2024.
