The big chain stores will close at noon on December 24
The stores of the largest retail chains – Aldi, Auchan, Lidl, Penny Market, Spar, Tesco – will close at 12 noon on December 24, with a few exceptions, the National Trade Association (OKSZ) told MTI on Thursday.
It was emphasized in the announcement: the Commercial Act allows the stores to be open until 2 pm on this day, the member companies of OKSZ have decided to shorten the opening hours in order to help the store employees relax and celebrate with their families. Workers also need more rest because of the higher workload associated with the pandemic, they added. (MTI)
