The big blue!
After last year’s negative trend 2019 brought an upturn in Hungary’s gin consumption again. The first premium artisan gins made in Hungary also appeared on store shelves, and perhaps Búzavirág (the name means ‘cornflower’) by Brebis Kft. was the most original of these. This blue flower not only gave its name to the product, but its colour as well. Master distiller János Márton and marketing expert Péter Bárány created the new gin, which is made of 24 plants. Only 3 times 300 bottles have been made of the exclusive product so far.
