Most of the large grocery chains will keep their stores open on December 24th, stores will usually wait for customers until 12:00, but there may be exceptions, after which their stores will open on the 27th, which will mostly be available to customers until 2:00-4:00 on the 31st, according to the holiday schedule – the companies informed MTI.
Auchan will wait for customers until 12:00 on December 24th, according to the experience of the department store chain, it gives customers security that they can shop even at the last minute if necessary, and there is a demand for fresh products at this time – they stated.
They also announced that their stores will operate during their usual opening hours between December 27th and 30th, and will be open until 4:00 on December 31st.
Penny stores will be open nationwide until 12:00 on December 24, with extended opening hours on December 19, 20, 21 and 23, closing at 9:00 p.m. Their stores will have their usual Sunday opening hours on December 22, as they will between December 27 and 30, while they will be open until 2:00 p.m. on December 31.
Taking into account customer needs, most Spar and Interspar stores will be open until 12:00 p.m. on December 24, but some stores operating in shopping centers may have differences, the company told MTI. Between December 20 and 23, Interspar hypermarkets will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., but there may be exceptions for stores operating in shopping centers.
Some Spar supermarkets will be offering extended opening hours on December 21st and 22nd.
