The rise in unemployment hits the most advanced economies
This year, 203.3 million unemployed people, slightly less than last year’s 205 million will be in the world. A substantial number of young people enriches the camp of unemployed – states the UN Labour Organization, the ILO.
However, an improvement can be seen: almost all indicators improved in unemployment since 2009, and the trend is likely to continue very slowly. The report points out, that the current trend seems to turn around. Unlike in the previous years, the number of unemployed declines in the industry and increases in agriculture worldwide – reports Világgazdaság Online.
