The miller and the well-dressed girls – Picture of the day
Although we are more than half a decade after the world economic crisis, poverty is still high in some areas of the USA: the most impoverished sew clothes for their children from grain sacks. Seeing this, the owners of Kansas mills decide to use flowery fabric for their sacks so that the children can have nicer clothes. The industrial inscriptions on the bag disappear during the first wash.
