Just one year after their opening, both restaurants at MOL Campus, VIRTU and Zazie Bistro&Bar, have received Michelin Guide recognition. At the Michelin gala held on December 10, both restaurants were awarded Michelin recommendations, which is a guarantee of outstanding quality not only for the gastronomic profession, but also for guests.

International recognition and community value creation

The Michelin recommendations of Zazie and VIRTU are an important milestone in the life of MOL Campus, and also a herald of Hungarian gastronomy on the international stage. The recognitions will put MOL Campus even more in the spotlight as a community meeting place that offers special experiences not only to gastronomy lovers, but also to all visitors. MOL Campus is not just a headquarters, but also an open space next to the Kopaszi Dam: its restaurants, the SkyDeck observation deck, the ground floor café, as well as sports and other events all contribute to bringing MOL closer to the people.

“It is a great honor for us that the two restaurants of MOL Campus have received such a prestigious recognition. This result not only praises the exceptional work of the Zazie and VIRTU teams, but also proves that MOL Campus is truly more than a corporate headquarters – an open, community space that focuses on sustainability, quality and innovation. We are proud that this recognition will give even more people the opportunity to experience the special experiences offered by MOL Campus and get closer to us”

– said Péter Pantl, MOL Group Communications Director.

VIRTU: tradition and innovation above the city

VIRTU, located on the 28th floor of MOL Campus, is a modern fine dining restaurant that offers a culinary experience by reinterpreting the gastronomy of the Hungarian and former Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. The chef, Levente Lendvai, impresses guests with dishes such as Palóc venison goulash or Toriyama Wagyu steak, which are prepared with masterful elaboration and at the same time with respect for traditions.

“I am proud that one year after the opening of VIRTU, our work has already been recognized with a Michelin recommendation. The mission of our restaurant is to return to our own gastronomy, Hungarian cuisine, in the highest quality imaginable. We also rely on the gastronomic culture of the former Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, so the flavors of the Adriatic Sea are also on our menu,”

– said Levente Lendvai, the chef of VIRTU, who also won the Young Chef of the Year title.
