Z-gen no longer uses mobile phones for more than just payments
The number and amount of smartphone payments at K&H is constantly increasing. This alternative is also becoming increasingly popular among young people. It is also important that today the mobile banking application is not only suitable for shopping, but also provides access to many other services, for example, you can buy tickets for public transport, or you can take out travel insurance in just a few steps before a holiday. The K&H Vigyázz, szét, pénz! contest also draws students’ attention to the use of digital solutions that are prioritized by the financial institution, thus making it easier to manage everyday finances.
In terms of payment habits, card payments and electronic solutions have gained increasing popularity in recent times. These include, for example, smartphone and smart device payments, but also many other services are available via mobile – K&H draws the attention of young people to this. Smart device payments require the digitization of the bank card associated with the account. After that, the card can be easily activated, limits can be conveniently set, and the PIN code can also be easily modified.
Electronic solutions are also an obvious solution for children and students entering the world of banking. According to the K&H Youth Index, in the second half of last year, the majority, 69 percent, of 19-29 year-olds, i.e. young people who have already left childhood, thought that smart device payments could replace and marginalize regular bank card payments within a few years. There was also a majority of those who thought that smart device payments were much more convenient than bank card solutions – 66 percent of those concerned thought so.
