Mobile phones may replace credit cards
The NFC-based payment has the potential to help the purchases: the credit card of the future is the mobile phone.
According to James Anderson, CEO of MasterCard; during the following five years, the NFC-based mobile phone contactless payment solutions will took over the traditional role of credit cards and can introduce a number of new service solutions – reports mobilarena.hu. To the wide-spread of contactless payment, affordable mobile phones equipped with NFC modules and compatible payment terminals are necessary, but for now it seems, that serious progress is expected this year in both areas – reports Népszabadság Online.
