The quality of Hungarian pálinka represents Hungary worthy

The pálinka can achieve the top spot among the hungarikums as it is a value that worthy represents Hungary in the world – said Budai Gyula, Parliamentary Secretary of the Rural Development Ministry at the 10th National Pálinka Forum.

At the event, held on Friday in the Ministry of Rural Development (VM), the scientific and professional organizations, entrepreneurs, regulators and representatives of the authorities discussed the present and the future of pálinka.

“Every nation has its national treasures ouzo for the Greeks, cognac for the French, whiskey for the Americans, the Hungarians have the pálinka that we can be proud of” – said the Secretary of State. (MTI)
