Migros votes on lifting alcohol sales ban
In June members of Swiss retailer will vote on whether or not the cooperative should offer alcoholic beverages for sale in its shops in the future. The alcohol sales ban has been effective since 1928. Approximately 2.3 million cooperative members can now decide on the future of beer, wine and spirit sales in Migros stores.
