Metro is waiting for the end of the year
Metro is optimistic about the Christmas season. Although the company’s year-on-year sales decreased by 1.1 percent to EUR 14.2 billion, they hope for EUR 1.75-billion net sales at the end of the year – in part driven by a better performance from Media Markt and Saturn stores than last winter. CEO Olaf Koch told that Metro plans new investments.
