Artificial intelligence is also transforming education
Challenge or help? According to a recent British survey, although teachers are aware of generative artificial intelligence (AI), many do not use it at all and lack training to learn about the technology. In Hungary, the use of the tool in education is also still in its infancy, but there is a growing demand from teachers for knowledge about the platform and how to use it effectively. Yettel’s ProSuli program is therefore launching a practice-oriented online AI training for teachers, who can not only master the basics of the technology, but also learn how to use artificial intelligence for lesson planning or to facilitate administration.

Átrendeződés indul, amit az AI és a klímaváltozás indukál
Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most significant technologies shaping the future of education, fundamentally changing teaching methods. A recent survey of more than 5,000 secondary school teachers in England by the British Computer Society found that 67% of teachers first encountered generative AI through a platform called ChatGPT, but many still see the tool as more of a challenge than a help. The research found that nearly two-thirds of teachers do not use AI at all in their daily work, and only four in ten use it regularly except to check students’ homework or assignments. The survey also found that 84% of teachers have not changed their assessment methods since the advent of AI, and many lack proper guidance and training on how to use the system.
The potential uses of artificial intelligence are increasingly of interest to teachers in Hungary, but according to feedback, many teachers are unsure how to incorporate technology as a support tool into their everyday work. Yettel’s digital education program, ProSuli, has therefore decided to launch its own AI training to familiarize teachers with the basics, operation, and application possibilities of generative artificial intelligence. During the training, teachers will learn how to plan lessons with the help of AI, as well as how to use the tool effectively, for example, for curriculum development or to facilitate everyday administration. During the training, they will learn in a practical way how to ask appropriate questions – so-called prompts – to AI systems so that they can provide the most effective assistance with their work.
