The new year is off to a good start for shelter animals – ALDI collected donations
ALDI collected pet food in cooperation with its customers and the Ant Society, thereby providing assistance to the approximately 6,100 residents of many animal shelters.
The basic element of ALDI’s social responsibility is environmental awareness and social sensitivity, and it has been doing important social work with its fundraising for years, an essential part of which is the role related to the welfare of animals.
During the New Year’s Eve period, from December 28, 2023 to January 3, 2024, ALDI organized a national pet food collection campaign together with the Ant Community. The Ant Community has been helping shelters and animal protection organizations since 2010, and primarily provides material assistance to the hundreds of organizations associated with them.
During the campaign, ALDI customers in any of the stores in Hungary had the opportunity to support animal protection organizations in difficult situations – in the form of pet food.
