Hungarian, Polish, Czech and Slovak organizations support fair trade
The Conscious Consumers’ Association (TVE) has launched a regional project with its Polish, Czech and Slovak partners for the promotion of Fairtrade, with the support of the International Visegrad Fund. Fairtrade is a growing market with further growth potential.
The trade of Fairtrade last year worldwide was over 8.4 billion euros, which is an 8 percent increase compared to the previous year. The consumer demand for sustainable foods grows worldwide, within which the market for Fairtrade certified products and ingredients is increasing as well.
