There is still room to hide surprises, but storing seasonal things causes problems for Hungarians
Hungarians can’t find a place for it, or they consider it too complicated to create the storage space they dreamed of, which is why many people have problems storing seasonal things, according to IKEA’s survey. Although 39 percent of the population finds a place to hide Christmas presents in the wardrobe, many people are still looking for a solution to create permanent storage spaces.
Better utilization, a tidier home
Proper storage of seasonal belongings not only ensures the integrity of the objects, but also the home looks more organized and spacious if everything has a place. Experience shows that people make better use of their things if they always know exactly where they are, and if, for example, winter things do not get in the way of summer clothes, or vice versa.
During the Christmas season, in addition to the decorations and the base of the tree, you have to find room for a few extra boxes: the gifts you have already bought have to be hidden from our curious loved ones until the holidays. According to the IKEA Home Storage survey, Hungarians choose true classics when it comes to where to hide their Christmas presents. The most common place is the wardrobe (39%), but under the bed (20%) and in the coat closet (9%) are also often places for gift-giving packages.
