MasterCard is working with Visa on an online payment simplifying standard

The MasterCard and the Visa are working together on an online payment simplifying standard. The single-use passwords and biometric data will play the main role in the new standard – MasterCard told MTI on Monday.

According to the commuinication, MasterCard is testing face and voice recognition applications, and is working on the creation of a wristband that identifies the card holders on the basis of their specific heart rhythm. The new protocol can enter the market in 2015 and can gradually replace the 3-D Secure technology. (MTI)
