The second frost caused serious damages in the orchards
The fruit trees located in unfortunate places froze for the second time this year. A part of the buds were destoyed during the extremely cold weather, that came after an unusual warm wave in February.
The fruit trees could have recovered from their wounds, caused by these weather extremities, but this week’s two frosty nights caused more serious damages. The damages are continuously measured by professionals. They are expected to summarize the damages the next week, but now seems that the extent of destruction is higher than in 2007.
