The number of guest nights spent in accommodation in Hungary may reach 30 million this year
The number of guest nights spent in Hungarian accommodation may reach 30 million this year, which is lower than the 41 million measured in 2019, but an increase of almost 1.5 times compared to 22 million last year, the CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) said in an official podcast broadcast on Friday.
Guller Zoltán added that their estimate of the number of guest nights this year is based on the data extracted from tourism so far.
He recalled that the National Tourism Data Service Center was launched in the summer of 2019, which provides accurate data for, among other things, decisions on tourism developments and marketing activity. (MTI)
