It is especially true for Hungarians that they are even happy from the planning of the trip
Planning a trip makes 64% of Hungarians happy, according to a Kiwi.com survey published on the occasion of World Happiness Day. Like the countries examined in the region, we also experience the greatest happiness at the beach, but we are much more excited by a wild concert than a fine dining experience.
The search for happiness is one of the fundamental goals of human existence. For 10 years, we have celebrated the International Day of Happiness on March 20, and this year Kiwi.com, the Czech travel technology company, conducted a survey in Hungary and the countries of the region, and also asked its followers about what makes us happy while traveling. “We believe that one of our greatest freedoms is to be able to choose where we want to be and to be free to explore the world. Traveling offers unique experiences that can give you a deep sense of happiness. We want people to celebrate this with us. We were curious to see what moments and places our followers associate with happiness,” said Andrew Parker-Blagg, Kiwi.com’s vice president of brand and global communications. A Hungarian respondent on Facebook perfectly captured the relationship between travel and happiness. His answer was: “Everything from the moment you leave your home to the moment you return home. The journey there, the arrival, every day spent there”.
