The majority of Hungarians do not gain weight during the holidays
The holidays are coming, and most households put a menu on the holiday table. Many people are already predicting how much excess weight they will end December with. However, according to the dietician, you don’t have to give up anything in the name of healthy eating if you want to avoid extra kilos, but it doesn’t hurt to follow some golden rules during the holidays as well.
According to Dr. Takács Hajnalka, there is no healthy lifestyle without awareness, but at the same time it is also important to clarify that most Hungarians do not put on most of their excess weight during the December holidays. Still, according to him, there is a solution so that you don’t have to stand in front of the wardrobe with a sense of guilt after Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Ten tips from the dietitian to eat well, but not let the mirror and the scale be our enemies next year!
At Christmas, if we put on the plate according to what our eyes desire, we are doing it right! At the same time, after the holidays, let’s pay attention to benefiting our health first! What is missing or very little for most people is the vegetables eaten for the main meal. After the holidays, this should be the first thing on the plate.
Eat slowly so that the body has time to signal that it is full and does not need more food. To prevent excess calorie intake, put less food on the plate first.
