The majority of Hungarians are having vacation in Hungary

Nearly 40 percent of households are planning a trip in the 2013 season. This is a 3.9 points higher result than a year earlier.

The majority of the domestic tourists plans a domestic holiday. Among the destinations, the Lake Blaton has remained the favorite, while the second most popular tourist destination is Northern Hungary. The Széchenyi rest Cards have an important stimulating effect in the planning of the trips – was said at the season opening press conference of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) and the Hungarian Tourism Ltd.(MT) on Tuesday in Budapest.
