Almost two-thirds of Hungarians pay abroad with a bank card or mobile device
62 percent of Hungarians prefer to pay with a credit card, smartphone or smart watch when traveling abroad, and this is the second place in the regional ranking in terms of the use of digital payments abroad, according to a Visa study of eight Central and Eastern European countries.

We are second in the region in using digital payments abroad
The trend came at a time of restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, and these habits are now reflected in payment preferences during their stay abroad, said Kiss Ede, Visa Hungary’s regional manager for travel in Budapest, at a press conference, on Thursday. (MTI)
