The Hungarian purchasing power is far below the EU average
Based on the consumption datas, a German household living twice as well as a Hungarian – turns out from Eurostat’s statistics. The real personal consumption is closely related to the GDP per capita. On the basis of this only the Bulgarians, Romanians and Croats live worse than us – portfolio.hu wrote.
Last year, compared to the EU average, individual consumption is between 49 and 138 percent, in the Member Countries. (Actual Individual Consumption, AIC) The purchasing power parity datas clearly show that in households in richer countries, spending options are considerably higher than in countries with less developed economies. The greatest wealth is in Luxembourg, where EU average of more than 38 percent higher than the actual consumption. (portfolio.hu)
