Magyar Telekom is again the most attractive workplace of the year
For the eighth time, PwC Hungary assessed our country’s labor market preferences and presented the Most Attractive Workplace of the Year awards. In the telecommunications and media category, Magyar Telekom won the best award for the seventh time.
The purpose of the PwC Hungary survey is to learn about employees’ preferences and perceptions of employer brands. In addition, the research examines how these are influenced by the environment around us, as well as by various economic and social conditions. The lesson of this year’s research is that, in addition to the basic salary, the so-called human factors seem to be increasingly valued: the social environment, the workplace framework, and flexibility. A positive workplace atmosphere is increasingly important; employees prefer to work with a supportive, cooperative team and a prepared, supportive leader. Respecting privacy, that is, creating and maintaining a healthy balance between work and private life, was also given a prominent role among the preferences.
For the seventh year now, Magyar Telekom has won the Most Attractive Workplace of the Year award, announced at the same time as the results of the research, in the telecommunications and media category.
“It is a matter of pride, but also a responsibility, to be the most attractive workplace in the telecommunications sector for seven consecutive years. Perhaps the key to our success is that we are sufficiently flexible and open, we are constantly looking for opportunities that determine market trends; but at the same time, we also keep in mind the creation of people-centeredness, a caring approach and psychological safety. This is a lucky combination that can support our organization in the long term in achieving business success and maintaining the motivation and satisfaction of our colleagues.”
– said Zsuzsa Tóth, Chief People Office of Magyar Telekom, about the award.
