The Foundation of the Hungarian – Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Budapest
On 26 February 2014, took place the first meeting of the Board of Directors and Founding Members of the Hungarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RoCham). The meeting followed the constitutive meeting of the Hungarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which had previously taken place, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Victor Micula, Ambassador of Romania in Hungary.
The setting up of this bilateral Chamber of Commerce was also welcomed by His Excellency Mr. Titus Corlatean, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania who met, on 24 February, in Budapest, the elected president of the Chamber Mr. Janos Takacs, and Mr. Laszlo Erdelyi, member of the Board of Directors. On this occasion, minister Corlatean congratulated the initiators for their commitment and expressed his confidence that the new Hungarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry established in Budapest will highly contribute to the sustainable and balanced development of the bilateral trade of the two countries.
