Magyar Posta has started delivering food vouchers to pensioners
The post office will deliver food vouchers to pensioners from Monday, Magyar Posta announced to MTI on Monday.
It was highlighted that between September 1 and October 15, Magyar Posta will deliver the vouchers to more than 2.3 million beneficiaries on a scheduled basis to the address registered with the Pension Payment Directorate of the Hungarian State Treasury.
The postman will attempt to deliver the items once at the address, if the recipient is not at home, then – with a notification left by the postman – the recipient or even his or her authorized representative can collect the benefit at the designated deposit post office within 10 working days.
It is important that if the beneficiary of the voucher does not apply for the benefit within the specified period, the post office will return the item containing the pensioner’s food voucher to the Hungarian State Treasury after the custody period has expired.
Re-sending of vouchers can be requested by contacting the Pension Payment Directorate of the Hungarian State Treasury directly by November 14th at the latest.
