Magyar Posta handed over its 500th post machine
Magyar Posta put its 500th parcel vending machine into operation in Budapest’s Etele Plaza. The expansion of the network is ongoing, next year another 150 machines will be installed across the country, the company’s president and CEO said on the spot on Wednesday.
Barnabás Balczó also spoke about the opening of Magyar Posta’s 100th new postal partner in Csököly, Somogy County, on Wednesday. The company already serves its customers in 3,200 locations, including post offices, mobile post offices and the constantly expanding postal partner network, he added.
The new partnership model is considered Magyar Posta’s 2023 success program: since the announcement of the new partnership, which will be available from February, the company has already signed contracts with 210 partners, two-thirds of which are typically municipalities of settlements with less than 1,500 inhabitants, and one-third are local businesses, grocery stores or pharmacies.
