14 percent of the Hungarian workers receive a 13th month salary at the end of the year according to a survey
14 percent of the Hungarian workers receive a 13th month salary in November and December, averaging 332 thousand forints, typically at larger private-owned private companies – Fizetesek.hu’s survey reveals.
48 thousand people participated in the survey by filling the questionnaire on www.fizetesek.hu.
In case of the 13th month salary, the size of the company is important: at companies employing less than 50 people, only 11 percent of employees receive this bonus, on average 300,000 forints. At companies employing 50-250 employees, 15 percent of employees can count on average 345,000 forints, and at companies employing more than one thousand employees, 20 percent of the employees receive 13th monthly salary, on average 365,000 forints.
