Nearly half of the young Hungarians use dietary supplements
Almost half of young Hungarians have consumed some kind of dietary supplements in the past year, but almost one third of them do not know exactly what kind of products these products belong to or they mistakenly consider them to be medicines.
One third of the respondents also mistakenly think that these preparations have a preventative or curative effect, according to the joint research by the National Anti-Counterfeiting Agency (HENT), the Hungarian Food Additive Manufacturers and Distributors Association (MÉKISZ) and TÁRKI.
