The Hungarian Food Bank Association distributes nearly 2,000 tons of food aid
The Hungarian Food Bank Association sends 1838 tonnes of long-term food in June 2010, in the scope of EU’s Food Aid Program, to about 380,000 persons in need.
Most part of the food packages will be distributed in the flood-stricken areas. In the autumn, more 1500-2000 tonnes of food distribution will take place.
The Hungarian Food Bank Association sends food packages containing flour, pasta, biscuits, and sugar to 380,000 inhabitants of 643 settlements.
