The ministry encourages the purchase of Hungarian melon

From next week, a large amount of Hungarian watermelon will appear on the market, so the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) urges consumers to choose Hungarian melon, instead of Greek imports – the ministry told MTI on Monday.

The bulletin cites Nagy István the parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM), who said at the opening event of this year's melon campaign that the Hungarian melon is fresher than the melon imported from abroad and the sector provides livelihood for 11 thousand families.
