The Magyar Cukor Zrt. produced the total sugar quota

The raw material need of the Magyar Cukor Zrt. was provided with 821 thousand tons of sugar beet, which was processed in the scope of the longest, 117-day campaign of the past ten years, in the sugar factory of Kaposvár.
About 105 thousand tonnes of sugar beet was produced. This is the quantity of the sugar quota and nearly 16 thousand tons above the sugar quota was also produced.

Last April, the refinement of raw sugar was decided. Work began in early August, and lasted until the  beginning of the beet campaign. The raw sugar campaign was repeated in January, a total of nearly 53 thousand tons of raw sugar was refined. (Világgazdaság Online)
