The Hungarian delicacy cucumber has no equal
Especially if it’s officially high quality! The time has come for the king of pickles, the pickled cucumber loved by many of us, to enter the ring for the KMÉ trademark.

The first step on the way to the KMÉ trademark is always the use of the right raw material, i.e. in this case the perfect raw cucumber. Only fruits with a maximum length of 14 cm that are uniformly cylindrical and not deformed meet this requirement. In addition, they come from a small-seeded, disease-resistant, non-bitter variety.
Cucumbers that meet the above requirements in all respects can only be filled in transparent, glass packaging
But this is far from the end of expectations. There is no room for cut, broken parts or stem residues longer than one centimeter in high-quality pickled cucumbers. Damaged, stained or noticeably crooked vegetables are also undesirable.
Finally, let’s talk about the right topping!
This ingredient must be appetizingly transparent, free of veil-like plaque and sediment, which completely covers the cucumbers lined up in the glass!
