Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture urging introduction of SPS in 2009
A substantial part of animal husbandry might disappear by 2012, which could lead to a major crisis. This danger comes from the delay in the introduction of the SPS law, which has been sent to the Constitutional Court for revision by the President. SPS is the only means of guaranteeing that a system of subsidies similar to that existing in the EU-15 countries is put into operation.
