Nébih warns of the importance of preventing avian influenza
Ensuring the epidemiological closure of the poultry farms is of utmost importance to prevent another avian influenza epidemic in Hungary – the National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nébih) called the attention of livestock farmers in its communication sent to MTI.
It was highlighted that in several European countries, there is still a sporadic outbreak of avian influenza in domestic and wild birds, the latest cases are reported in Bulgaria.
Nébih stressed that adherence to the provisions of the decision is crucial for Hungary to maintain its avian flu control. (MTI)
