L’Oréal appoints new managing director for the Czech, Hungarian and Slovak markets
L’Oréal has announced the appointment of Monika Masewicz as the new Managing Director for the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, effective January 1, 2025. With extensive leadership experience in international markets and industries, the new leader brings a dynamic and fresh perspective to this key regional role.
Monika Masewicz has a career characterized by transformational leadership and exceptional results. She began her professional career in FMCG and pharmaceutical companies such as Unilever and GSK. Since joining L’Oréal in 2015, she has held key positions, including significant time at L’Oréal’s global headquarters in Paris. This experience has given her in-depth knowledge of consumer behavior and the skills needed to lead and inspire diverse, high-performing teams globally.
In particular, in recent years, as the Director of L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty for Poland and the Baltics, Monika Masewicz has led the division through a significant transformation. Under her leadership, she achieved significant growth, achieved a market leadership position in the competitive dermocosmetics sector, and redefined the division’s business strategies. She strengthened team structures and launched innovative digital and e-commerce initiatives, achieving exceptional business results.
