The logistics alliance turned to the government to increase the competitiveness of the sector
The Association of Hungarian Logistics Service Centers (MLSZKSZ) developed a package of measures affecting the road, rail and waterway, logistic services and the customs area, in order to increase the competitiveness of the sector. The document was also forwarded to the government – the MLSZKSZ informed MTI.
According to the Communication, the solution of the problems mentioned in the document would be expected to result in at least 100 billion HUF additional revenue from the national economy.
The MLSZKSZ mainly urges the joint diplomatic action of the Visegrád countries, as the adoption of the envisaged EU legislation (mobility package) would have an adverse effect on the activities of the Central and Eastern European carriers interested in international freight transport. (MTI)
