More than 620,000 passengers at Liszt Ferenc Airport in February

Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc Airport received 620,199 passengers in February, which is an increase of more than tenfold, compared to the same period last year, Budapest Airport told MTI on Friday.

They added that airport passenger traffic is still only 64 percent of pre-pandemic levels in 2019, but they are expected to reach 80 percent by summer.
The number of destinations directly accessible from Budapest increased to 104 in February, with flights from the Hungarian capital to 37 countries offered by 30 airlines. In the second month of the year, the most popular destinations are Dubai, as well as major European cities: London, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona. (MTI)
