The bakeries are hit by price increase of flour
If the Hungarian flour is too expensive, the bakers are buying cheaper foreign flour. They are considering to turn to the Economic Competition Authority, because it is suspicious, that almost all millers are increasing the price of flour at the same time.
The mills announced price increase around the same time and roughly on the same degree, which can also be a concerted action. The Hungarian Bakers Association considers turning to the Economic Competition Authority, believing, that an inspection would uncover the truth – said the Varga László, Chairman of the Hungarian Bakers Association – reports szabadfold.hu, after agromonitor.hu.
