Lidl Switzerland adds fresh chilled products to food rescue programme
Lidl Switzerland has stepped up its food waste prevention programme by donating chilled fresh products such as cheese, yogurt and fresh meat to the charities Tischlein deck dich and Schweizer Tafel.

In 2023 Lidl Switzerland donated more than 500 tonnes of food, contributing to the preparation of around 1.4 million meals. Lidl seeks to halve food waste in its stores by 2030 compared to 2017.
