Lidl’s conquest in Spain
In 2015 Lidl’s sales in Spain expanded by 12.5 percent to EUR 3,048 million in comparison with 2014. According to Alimarket.es, the good result roots in greatly improving the level of services and adapting the product selection to the taste of Spanish customers. Last year Lidl invested EUR 262 million in Spain, 30 percent more than planned.
