Lidl will be the official fresh food partner of the Women’s European Handball Championship for the second time, supporting freshness and conscious nutrition.
The second full sports partner sponsorship of the Women’s European Handball Championship is part of Lidl’s sports sponsorship activities. The company has been involved in supporting international handball since 2017 and will continue this partnership in the framework of the 2024 Women’s European Handball Championship, which starts on November 28.
Lidl’s “We are in one team” approach is also reflected in offering fresh fruit and vegetables at affordable prices in its stores across Europe and in bringing everyone – handball fans, families and children – closer to their favorite sporting events.
Lidl wants to highlight the importance of sport and exercise, as well as a healthy diet, and inspire people across Europe to live an active lifestyle and make conscious choices in purchasing healthy, sustainable products in the future. The partnership aims to help people achieve their best, not only for themselves but also for the planet.
As the host country, Lidl will provide fresh fruit for the players, organizers, media and members of the Lidl Kids Team during the tournament.
