Lidl continues its partnership with the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League
Following a fantastic European football season, Lidl will continue its partnership with the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League as an official partner in the 2025/26 season. Lidl’s initiatives have reached thousands of people this season.
Last season, Lidl’s partnership with the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League brought together 36 nations and 72 clubs over 342 match days. This made Lidl the most visible sponsor of the tournaments, according to a Nielsen Sports survey, while bringing fans even closer to the world of football.
Lidl’s community initiatives have reached thousands of players, supporters and families during the tournament. In the 2024/25 season, the supermarket chain:
provided more than 18,000 servings of fresh fruit to stadium visitors to help them fuel their support,
distributed 4,685 tickets across Europe, helping Lidl customers and families experience the excitement of European top-flight football up close,
7,524 child football fans became members of the Lidl Kids Team, who were able to take to the pitch with their favourite players and experience the magic of the matches up close.
Lidl is also preparing great opportunities for fans internationally for the 2025/26 season – in addition to winning tickets and Lidl Kids Team experiences, it will also provide healthy, fresh food to matchgoers. This partnership reinforces Lidl’s commitment to promoting active lifestyles, supporting communities and making football more accessible to a wider audience.
