Lidl is the largest domestic retail chain based on revenue and profit
The dynamic revenue growth of German discount chains continued last year on the Hungarian market, but almost all major players were able to increase their sales – it is clear from the annual reports, which have now been published by all major domestic retail chains. Based on the figures for 2021, Lidl is still the largest domestic retail chain in terms of revenue and profit, but the former market leader Tesco and Auchan also had a significant profit improvement in the closed financial year.
Lidl – this is how the market leader performed
